Hey all, I'm having issues with text+ the outlines of the text look very low quality being pixelated and jagged in appearance. I've tried playing around with size of the font with no success. There's a very easy fix on after effects that's a click of a button away and hoping there's a similarly easy fix using davinci resolve. Thanks!
So it has a pixelated look with any text I use, but the intended text is Komika Axis (not a default text) - Played around with the text size under 'text' and 'layout' with no success! The timeline resolution is 1920x1080
Hey, I tried rendering the video even though I haven't finished editing it; thanks for the suggestion, it actually looks like good quality after rendering it! It's a bit annoying having the jagged edges whilst editing but suppose I can work with it if it renders well hahaha
The default processing mode is “optimized for playback “ so u can turn that off in preferences if your system is capable, and get better but depth. Renders are always full bit depth., thus the difference
If anyone is still having the issue in their current project I might have a solutuion. In settings go to Image scaling - Resize filter and change those settings to "Smoother" (or try another). By default it will be "Sharper" and therefore the program might be trying to sharpening pixels that are not there (if you are zooming in on the text).
This helped me with external Alpha graphics from After Effects as well.
In the future I would suggest changing the font side instead of using zoom if you are using the text in the program.
