Macbook pro 2.6ghz intel core i7 16gb slow with Davince

PostTue Jan 07, 2014 2:28 am

Bought top of the line new macbook pro.
Has anyone tried using a brand new macbook pro and had slow results with davince in converting 2K files to prores 422 with rec 709. Any ideas? Or just use the new mac pro only when they ship. My old mac pro 4 years old works faster than a brand new laptop.
Thanks

Make sure Mac Preferences / Energy Saver - Use Automatic Graphics Switching is NOT selected.

Make sure you are using Resolve 10.0.2 and set the Resolve Preferences / Video I/O and GPU - GPU Processing mode to CUDA.
