Delivering for broadcast with 10 audio tracks
Good afternoon, I hope everyone is doing well.
I need to deliver a version of a TV episode with the following distribution of channels:
Channel 1 Main Stereo Left
Channel 2 Main Stereo Right
Channel 3 M&E / International Audio Stereo Left
Channel 4 M&E / Audio International Stereo Right
Channel 5 Main Front Left
Channel 6 Main Front Right
Channel 7 Main Center
Channel 8 Main LFE
Channel 9 Main Surround Left
Channel 10 Main Surround Right
The sound engineer has sent me each channel in mono (wav) format and I should add them to the timeline in that order. My idea is to create 10 mono tracks and place each audio track in its place and then in the export window select Output Track 1 ---- Timeline Track 1 and repeat this process for each of the tracks. This option would give me a file with 10 audio tracks.
My question is: is it as simple as that or do I have to make some kind of adjustment in the Fairlight tab so that the channels are mapped correctly?
Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you!
