Hello, noob Resolve User, first post.

Just a question about the the display of the time in the Editing page, it appears to show the start of any recording is at 1 hour old, i.e., 01:00:00:00 like this:

Image

From you tube videos this appears to be normal but foe me, it seems odd. Other packages I've used show the time as 00:00:00:00 at the start of any video.

Am I missing something? maybe a setting that can be changed to make that first hour 00: instead of 01:

Thanks.
Chas

Yes, timecode starting at 1 hour is normal. Some broadcast programs will use a start time of 10 hours. This comes from the days of linear editing using tape where syncing to timecode cannot use negative values. It has become the accepted norm and allows space before the program start for things like color bars, test tones, program information, and countdown clocks.
