If you're not using global project color management you will have to manually dial in your desired settings per clip or globally through the raw settings in the project settings. What I assume that is happening here mostly is that the files are converted via the raw settings to Rec.709. Doing this will only convert and not give tone mapping. You have to put them into a scene referred state and then use a CST to convert from that space to Rec.709/2.4 with DaVinci Tone Mapping enabled.
It will never look the same as Adobe Camera Raw because they have their own way of processing this but it will be similar. The rest would be up to grading which I recommend doing before the final conversion.
