Need a Deflicker help - my travel laptop can't handle..

PostThu Jan 26, 2023 3:20 pm

Am trying to process a clip.. Resolve refuses to do anything. THe second I apply the Deflicker, Resolve will crash and thereafter refuse to open that project anymore.
It's surely due to the laptop hardware. I've often had issues running the Defllicker on this thing. And this clip is 8K so, am surely asking too much of it. I won't be back with my video workstation for another two months.

Am hoping someone would be kind enough to download this clip and just run a config-free Deflicker on it for me - then upload the finished clip to a sharing service so I can download and continue.

The link to the file is:
https://mega.nz/folder/UjwGEYBb#EPjIUEJC0X3_AfkoLuLTIQ
I link to the folder, not the file directly so there's no funny-business.. would greatly appreciate the help. Just needs purely a project loaded, the clip smacked in, and the project rendered - please select 'Retain super-black and ultra-white data' in the export, although I guess it's not the end of the world either way......

Being curious if mine can handle it, I'm trying during lunch break.
......................
So, it's ready, took less than 2 minutes on my laptop with the preset Timelapse. Where do I send it? It's too big for my Dropbox.
BTW, you have another problem, which DR can't fix: the way you attached your camera was not stable enough.
Maybe AI can help you. Or make you obsolete.

Sorry.. weekend distracted me. Thanks very much!
I can give you a login to my Mega, it's just used for sending broken files to Insta360 heh
Yeah this new stick I am using is much more flexible. The fixing is tight, mostly, but the stick bends a lot more than my previous one. I'm getting replacements but for now I'm stuck with that issue.

Andrew, I made you two versions - one with just the deflicker slapped on and a second with a chain of several nodes to address the very strong flickering.

You can download them from my filemail account here:

Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
