Hello,
I have a weird sound issue which may have occured since I've installed version 22H2 of Windows 11, but I might be wrong.
When I put a clip, which has sound, in my timeline, and press "play", often the sound remains silent until 1 to 5 seconds has passed and then for the rest of the clip, then sound works ok.
Then, if I go back to the begining and replay the clip, sometimes the sound works immediately, sometimes it remains silent for a few seconds and work again. Often the amount of "silent time" isn't the same.
The big problem is that it also does the same when I render the clip.
It is sometimes visible in the visual audio peaks (which looks empty for the few firsts seconds), and sometimes not.
It seems random with each play attempt and render attempt.
It seems to affect only clips which have been rendered by resolve (in the past or present version, and also from other people resolve versions).
I seem to have no issue with clips which have been created by a camera or by using things like youtube download videos stuff.
I've never had this issue before using resolve for 3 years.
I've tried a work around in the form of rendering "audio only" then re-attaching this new audio to the video but unfortunately the rendered audio does the same random error.
It's always the first few seconds of a clip, sometimes like 0.5 seconds.
Resolve version: 17.4.6 BUILD 4
Windows 11 v. 22h2
I also recently updated the newest NVIDIA drivers.
My sound card is a Steinberg UR22 MKII.
I work and render in full HD or 4K at 60fps.
Should I try to delete all cache files, or install resolve 18. I don't know.
I have a windows save prior to the 22h2, but I'm not sure how to revert back to it (never done this before).
Anyone has experience with this issue ?
