Remove Clip Title Bar?

PostMon Jan 30, 2023 4:19 am

Hello...
Is there any way to remove the bar that has the clip's filename?
It takes up so much space that could be used for seeing a frame or the waveform.
Thanks...
JJ

I'm not aware of a way to remove the clip's filename, but if you grab the border between tracks in the track header at the left end of the timeline you can adjust the height of each track to be as high as you want to give you more room to see and manipulate the waveforms, etc.

There is an option to expand the waveform height

Thanks, guys...
The problem is that I want to see more thumbnail/waveform, but have limited vertical space.
I'm using a 4k monitor and I have the scale set to 150%.
That works great for everything except Resolve.
Of course, I could just switch it to 100% every time I want to use it and then switch it back after.

Vegas Pro has a cool option to hide the bar and it simply overlays that information.

That's basically what I'm looking for.

Set your Display Scaling to 100% always. Anything above that will reduce available screen space.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Ha...
I blew right past this, because I thought it was just a quick track height changer.
This is exactly what I'm looking for, but it's audio only.
It would be nice if they included a similar option for video, but I'll take it.
Thanks...

For even more clarity you can display the two channels of a stereo track by right clicking on the clip and selecting Display Individual Audio Channels.
