MacBook - Smart Bins Missing

PostWed Feb 01, 2023 10:00 pm

I am new to this program. I have the DaVinci Resolve 18.01.02. I am doing the training module 1. I can't see the smart bins, and I can not find the option to show the bins. and the sidebar button in the top left side does not make it appear, but pulls down a dropdown menu for the folders, but not the bins. can someone tell me what I am missing?

Check in Resolve Preferences - User - Editing that the desired Smart Bin options are enabled.

Yes. This was a set that was done in the module. Here is a screenshot of the settings.

So, comparing the video to my screen, and playing with some of the other pages, when I click the side panel button, nothing appears.

I found them. I just realized that I was in "Cut", not "Edit." I apologize.
