orphan cache

PostThu Feb 02, 2023 5:20 pm

if you have a project (let's say project_foo_v1) and you duplicate it (let's say project_foo_v2), the cache will be regenerate (IIUC).

that means that there is a old folder in the cache place with teh cache for teh v1 project.

now, if I delete the project project_foo_v1, the cache will become orphan (is not cleared).

Am I mistaken?

Should upon deletion resolve ask if I also what to delete the cache?

I agree. Once you hit "delete project", there should be a pop-up "do you want to delete cache aswell". Great idea!

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

that could be part of the overall improvement of the cache as well...
