Create Folder out of selected clips from Timeline?

PostFri Feb 03, 2023 8:50 am

Hello

The way I like to edit: Go through all the footage and throw everything I like into the timeline. Then go edit it. Now that I got the Speed Editor I would like to start with an empty timeline again and work in the cut page.

Is it possible to create a folder out of the clips that are in the timelines with exactly this selection? I have a lot of long takes where I used in/out points to select. So going back to the selected source clip doesnt make that much sense.

Thanks for the help.

I only know of a workaround. you could select them in the color tab and add a flag to them. Then in the media pool you can sort by flag and select the clips there.

You can drag clips from the timeline to a bin, then switch to Cut page and use Source Tape.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
