UltraStudio 4K Mini Cropped and Scaled

PostWed Mar 15, 2023 2:27 pm

I have an UltraStudio 4K mini connected to an Imac via Thunderbolt.
The video is scaled and cropped (See images)

Project Settings:
>Output Scaling section: turn off Match timeline settings.
>Output Resolution drop down menu: UHD 3840 X 2160.
>In the mismatched resolution files: Scale Entire Image to Fit

Please advise if you have a fix for this as this shouldn't be happening and previously was working fine.

Thanks!

What's the timeline resolution? What's the clip resolution? What's the monitoring resolution? And as you must know, the preference settings aren't readable in your screen shot.

I don't think it should have any effect in this case, but your output scaling is set to "full frame with crop". Try scale entire image to fit' and see what happens. You also might as well have checked "match timeline settings", since you're scaling UHD for UHD monitoring/output. Or aren't you?

The issue has been resolved. The timeline settings were overriding the project settings. As you can see in the attachment. I had to go into Monitor for the timeline and set the monitoring to the proper resolution.

Hello here,
I faced same problem. Is there more elegant solution than changing resolution of the timeline in timeline settings?
