White screen during clone

Hi, im very new to all this. I have a 30 second video and wanted to try a clone excerice. I went into FUSION tab. Clicked paint, clicked the clone brush then clicked the smaller circle brush. and the media has gone white.
Its just a white screen, it still shows the texts I put in and the audio. I tried undo and even restarting but its just a white blank screen now.

Any ideas at all. its like just a white screen overlay to my video.

I am trying to upload a screen shot, but it dosnt allow a word doc. Any ideas how I can do the upload please?

Thanks, but its refusing a word doc to do the screen shot.

Why is your screenshot in a Microsoft Word document format, Mark? Just save and upload it as an image file.

Looks like you've set it to display the alpha channel instead of the image. Toggle the highlighted button.

Thank you so much. That has sorted that, however the video is now not showing in the edit screen. Hope you can help again

You'll need to show your node tree if you hope to get targeted advice on what you may have done wrong.
On a more general, un-targeted advice note tho... have you done the Beginners Training? Or at least watched some Youtube tutorials?

Hi, yeah I have watched hours and hours to get me going. Is this what you feel would find me the help i seek? ive obviously pressed a setting without knowing and messed up, but no idea which one.

After more trial and error I have found that in edit if I press the bypass colour the video shows. So I have have done something in colour that is causing the black out of the video. Any ideas at all please as I have even pressed the reset default in the colour tab too.

So its working now, after I pressed reset fusion composition. No idea what that ment but it worked
