Compound clip and color grade lose quality ?

Hello, if i make color (correction and grade) a compound clip, do i lose quality ?

Depend on the CODEC used. Yes with all the lossy ones eg H264, H265, and others.

I think the only issue you need to be aware of is that all media inside a Compound Clip will be rendered at the resolution of the Compound.

So a UHD clip in an HD Compound might be a consideration.

Other than that, I don't think a grade will 'reduce quality'.
