Resolve Viewers with Resolve Icon and Dots

Hello,

I've never seen anything like this. And I haven't been able to find a solution. The solution is probably simple. I'd appreciate your help.

I just installed Resolve Studio 18 and, with one exception, everything looks good.

The exception? Every viewer shows the following on the screen.

- The Resolve Icon
- "Davinci Resolve"
- "Studio"
- A pattern of dots

I've attached an image.

Thanks for your help.

That most likely means that you accidentally installed the free version. Check the About Resolve menu and make sure it says Studio.

As Eric says, when you're on the free Resolve and use a Studio-only tool, this watermark is shown alongside the preview.

To check which tool prompts the overlay, you can disable clips under the playhead to isolate the clip, toggle Fusion and Color processing in the viewer to isolate if the Studio-only effect is in Edit, Color or Fusion, and lastly bypass/disable effects/nodes in each category.
