Timeline Looks Darker upon Opening

PostTue Mar 21, 2023 2:39 pm

I'm grading a project. I spent several hours on it, closed the computer and now open it the next day to find the entire project is now much much darker. The darkness is directly reading on the scopes.

Here is the weird part, I duplicated the timeline, and it went back to how it looked before. Levels are now all raised as before. The timelines are exactly the same with the exact same color management and node grade yet one is much darker. What is going on here?

Any I/O hardware in use?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I was using an HDMI monitor last night but the color management should be the same for both timelines, no?

I went to work on another project in Resolve. When I reopened the project from the original post, the darkness was gone (sounds something spiritual).

I guess it was some weird cache thing that resolved after it cleared out.
