4K to 1080 in the Fusion page?

PostWed Mar 22, 2023 8:26 pm

Hi, In Davinci resolve, my project setting are in 1920x1080p, but my media footage is 3840x2160p.... when using the Edit Page is perfect, but when i enter in the Fusion Page, the vram rises much... I know is for FLOAT POINT, but

Is there a way to use the timeline resolution (1920x1080) and not the original file resolution (3840x2160) to gain performance?

PostData: a way that does not involve generating proxies and optimized media.

Try creating a Compound clip first, then create a Fusion composition from that. Just know that if you do, you can't easily render a 4K image later.
