Purchased from Apple AppStore want to use on Windows as well

I purchased the studio from App Store but I also want to use it on my windows PC which is quite powerful compared to my mac.
I installed the app on windows, but it seems I need an activation key to make it work on windows.

On my mac, the app is working fine but I can't find the activation key so that I can make it work on windows as well.

I read at some places that I can use the same activation key in 2 places but only 1 of them would work at a time, that's fine for me. But how to I get this serial number?

The App Store licenses are only for MacOS.

If you want to use a Windows or Linux system you will need to purchase a license from a BMD reseller or directly on the BMD web site if its offered in your country.

That's understandable, I had no idea about this and hence got in this trap.

Though, it's quite bad user buying experience when it comes to DaVinci Studio.

While purchasing, I was quoted 3 difference pricings at 3 different steps on BMD website.
This made me google about any alternatives, which led me to the AppStore trap. Which was offering at the price I was looking at on the webpage of BMD.

It needs to improve in my opinion. It's not the right thing and way.

The first price doesn't include taxes. The second price factors in the taxes and the third price is Paypal's own currenct conversion price that has nothing to do with BMD. You could also check the reseller list on the website amd contact a local company to buy it from.

You could file a refund claim with Apple and hope it will get accepted.
Then you can fund a real full Studio license.
