The question is which log is it shooting in, to answer that we need to know what camera app specifically, preferably with screenshots of all the options it has
is it "Open Camera from Mark Harman" ?

No, sorry.
My phone is too old to have those options and I couldn't figure out what the different options were when reading the code.
My best option for you is to test each option out with different Gamma values in Davinci and report back with the results

Hello!
That's a great questions, but I'm afraid this might not be the answer you are hoping for!
A lot of camera apps offer 'log' shooting options. In a lot of instances, it's just a regular rec709 image with reduce contrast to protect shadows and highlights from clipping or getting crushed. These low profiles are not documented and also not particularly effective at increasing the quality of the image the camera is able to capture. They are sometimes more of an aesthetic choice rather than a genuine filmmaking tool. The camera also might not have sufficient dynamic range to take advantage of a log color profile.
I would assume the app and log profile you are describing fits the description above. It's likely not using any standard log curve, there probably isn't documentation on the profile, and therefore developers won't be able to build support for it into apps.
Your best bet would probably be to grade the image to taste manually with your Primary Wheels, contrast and saturation controls. Please forgive me if I made any generalisations above that do not apply to your camera phone or specific circumstances.
I hope that is helpful.

Without a documented curve is only a low contrast low sat picture, not a log.

well my question is just which of these two videos have better colors/quality since my amateur eyes can't see difference.
that's all.
thank you again

I ran an app which analyzes the videos..
Mediainfo.
The log file is 10bit hdr10
While the rec709 is 8 bit not hdr10.
I guess i should shoot with the log...right?

Yeah, 10-bit is better than 8-bit for sure! On a professional camera log would definitely be better for sure! It's just hard to say for an undocumented smartphone camera!

Another weird thing is that in Log mode it doesnt let me go shutter speed 1/50 which i need for europe... Shooting in 25 or 30 fps. It starts from 1/60.
But in rec709 mode it starts from 1/4

What do you expect? It’s a smartphone with some videocamera capabilities added.
Nobody is doing it right until today, including Apple.

You could try an app like FilmicPro Legacy. It gives you the possibility to shoot near Constant Frame Rate, with 1/50 shutterspeed and 25 fps and 10 bit. I use it all the time. I don't use their LOG. Just 'natural'. Darren Mostyn did a nice Youtube on how to deal with these files (H.265).
I am just an amateur making regular homemovies.

Forget it. They are only in it for the money now.

you can also try McPro24fps. It does nearly the same, but is a bit more complicated.
I think the website automatically will lead you to the FilmicPro version you have to pay for every month. There still seems to be FimicPro Legay, but it takes more effort to find it. (The one-time fee version is called FilmicPro Legacy, the pay-every-month version has a bit different name)

FilmicPro was bought from Italian BendingSpoon, and immediately they change the business model of Filmic Pro.
This is one’s of that time that I not proud to be Italian, they will destroy the FilmicPro fame.
Legacy is avaible only to old user like me.
Every update they manager that AppStore delete it and install newer rental mode, which is too expansive for an app, and (I tried for a month) is instable than in past, I use FilmicPro from its born, never found stability problems, and legacy continue to be stable.
I hope they decide to change rental mode and think to dual option or many user migrate from them.

If you are on iOS, try Cinema P3. As with FilmicPro, we can start an exhaustive discussion if their LOG profiles give you any advantage over Natural but I didn't touch Filmic again since I switched.
Regular updates and R&D is listening to the community. The latest version also supports ProRes 4:2:2.

Bitrate what? 70 mbps? That’s crap in 4K.

Bitrate is MB/s.
Please compare the 2 videos' characteristics and let me know which i should prefer as better

Well, number one should show less compression artifacts, but will not stand massive grading.
Number 2 will be more robust in grading, but tend to produce more artifacts with high detail and motion.
So, choose your poison.

Indeed. Higher specs do not automatically result in better images.
