It happens every time in 1-2 minutes when I play video. First I thought that the problem is in the video file, but then I opened project that I did few years ago (without any problems) and it happens there as well.

At first everything works OK, but then picture of video is lost, and after a while GUI starts to behave weird, and after that it crashes...

HW is completely the same as it was before when everything worked OK:
- win 10 pro
- AMD ryzen 2600 / 16GB
- GPU: RX 580 8GB

Practically all my source files are H264 (gopro, dslr)
All other stuff works without any problems on this PC: Visual studio, VLC, games, browsers, shotcut (had to use it insted of resolve) - only this version of Resolve is having problems

The hardware may be the same, but the software isn't.

You have the AMD Adrenalin 23.4.2 driver installed, which is known to create these issues with Resolve.

Please install the 23.4.1 driver and when you run the driver installer, select the Factory Reset option to ensure a clean install.

I first updated it to 23.4.3 but it didn't help. And I saw in adrenaline sw that VRAM jumped to 8GB at once. Then I downgraded it to 23.4.1 and now it works like it should and VRAM stays on 1,5GB for that very same project.

23.5.1 version resolves the issue.
