Hey Everyone

I am having no luck with Davinci Resolve. I cant get any audio to work at all. I have gone through all videos and tips for audio issues of previous versions and still nothing. No audio in any of the modules yet my system and files have audio..

Please help

Davinci Resolve V18.1.4
Windows PC (Specs are up to standard)

Which audio device is configured in Resolve's Preferences > System > Video and Audio I/O?

Is ASIO enabled for IO engine or is WDM used?

Setting are as follows:

I/O Engine: System Audio
Playback processing buffer size: Auto (Latency 10.0ms)
Record buffer size: 5 (Latency 0.0ms)
Input device: Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Output device: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Automatic speaker configuration box is checked

Could if have something to do with my computer blocking a component in the firewall of something?

Are you still struggling with this Mason?
Try unchecking 'Automatic speaker configuration' and check/set the outputs manually.

Are the issues persistent in Fixed Bus mode?
Project Preferences > Fairlight > Audio Busing Mode

Enable Fixed Bus mode preference prior to creating a new Timeline in a new Project.

Either I'm not doing it right or neither of those fixes seem to be doing anything. Although now the audio mixer is showing levels when playing but still no sound.

Could it be something I've done wrong during install?

Any change with the automatic speaker configuration preference disabled?
