Speeding up a clip

PostSun May 28, 2023 10:19 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some help, when I am editing my drone videos I firstly go through and clip all my videos to the sections I like.
Is it possible to speed up a clip and have it shorten itself so no material is added or removed, but instead it creates a gap in the timeline? Also is it possible to drag the start or end of a clip but instead of removing material it just speeds up the clip?

Thank you very much

Yes.

These things are covered in the Beginner's Guide. If you haven't had a chance to go through that training yet, it's a worthwhile endeavor. ;)

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

See both 'Change Clip Speed' and 'Retime Controls'...
