Image Pane Too Small in Color Tab

PostSun May 28, 2023 11:42 pm

I can't find a way to increase the size of my image pane in the Color Tab, instruction videos online show it much larger. I have included a screen shot of my Color tab and another from an online video to show the difference. Closing Clips makes it bigger, but I can't get it as big as in the Youtube video

It's probably due to a smaller screen resolution on your computer.

If you are not using it turn off Gallery to give you more space. As Peter says, it will most likely be your screen size and resolution that is causing the problem. This is what I see on a 1920x1080 screen with only Timeline and Nodes active.

Resolve is best used on a 27" screen with 1440 resolution or better. Anything less will be a compromised experience.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I suspect the OP is using a laptop so is having to contend with a smaller screen and possibly lower resolution.

Personally, I'm making no compromises with dual 23" HD screens. :)

Hey, we're using dual 27" displays and they look great:

I thought we were happening until I saw that the colorist on Avatar 2 was using two 32" displays in the theater!
