Output REC2020 HLG Master

Hi,

I'm creating a Master from a film graded in Color Space REC2020, Gamma REC.2100 HLG.

If I export the file with Gamma Tag "Same as Project" or if I force to REC.2100HLG, when I take it back the file to Resolve, Resolve detects inputGamma REC.2100(Scene) and picture is a lot brighter. If I force InputGamme to REC.2100, picture is ok.

Why Resolve detects inputGamma REC.2100(Scene) instead of REC.2100 which was choosen during creation of file ?

I'm a bit disapointed.
I have to deliver to TV, a REC.2020, REC2100 HLG program. How to do it with resolve please ?

I don't have experience with such deliveries but have you checked the metadata of the file or played it back via a different app? It may be that Resolve just auto tags it as scene.

Like you, I suspect that Resolve misinterprets the Gamma when importing.
I tried to check the metadata with MediaInfo, but I couldn't find anything about Gamma.
Adobe Première doesn't show anything either.
I checked with Avid MediaComposer without success.

Do you know a software able to check this type of information ?

i don't use HLG,
but do see correctly tagged 2020/2084_1000n needing to have the same values set manualy on import if it's a Qt /MXF / TIFF file,
