Color Page Issue

I'm new to DR and have an issue with the Color Page. When I try to colorize a clip nothing happens even using full saturation, drastic changes along the color wheel, etc. None of the monitors, eg parade, etc changes. I then tried using nodes and I can see changes in the nodes but not on the clip. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You may want to try the color bars instead of the color wheels.

Make sure that color and fx are not bypassed. The icon should look like this. If not, click on it.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will try both. I am going through the training on the DR 18 website. For the Fusion training the project files are not in order and, in fact, session 1 the training files are actually for session 3 and session 3 is for session 3.
