video track on subtitle track

Hello,
I have some transitions in my video, just a solid color moving from right to left covering the entire frame. When I add the subtitles track, the text remains visible above the transition. Instead, I would like the transition to cover the subtitles along with the video track too.
Ideally, if I could place the transition video track above the subtitle track, the problem would be solved. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to do that.

Do you have any recommendation about this?

All I can think of is to use regular Titles here, instead of Captions (Subtitles).
