Audio track doesn't come in on some videos

Hi:

I've just started using DV 18.5. On a couple of older videos that I brought onto the Timeline, no audio track shows up.
So far I don;t have this problem with newer video, although I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Is there some setting I need to change?

Can you check the audio codec with a tool like MediaInfo?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
