I am at my wits end with this, I figured I'd reach out one more time.
Can someone walk me through the process of recording internal audio ("What You Hear") into Fairlight (on Mac)?
For literally every other NLE software it's a simple process of selecting Blackhole as an input source and setting my Mac Sound Source to Blackhole. Boom. Done.
In DaVinci Fairlight, I cannot get it to do this with any configuration or aggregate device or anything. I am concluding that Fairlight just cannot record audio inputs.
Please, someone help me record Blackhole audio into a timeline in DaVinci.
I've even tried recording from LOOPBACK channels on my Scarlett (which also works in every other software)
Patching the input on a track yields nothing. Flat sound recording. Silence.
