Davinci Resolve Dongle and M2 MacBook Pro M2 Max

PostTue Jun 06, 2023 6:15 pm

Hello,
I've think I have a problem with my Resolve Studio dongle.
The dongle works perfectly on my iMac and 2016 MacBook Pro (Touch Bar edition) but it won't be recognised on brand new MacBook Pro 14" M2 Max and Davince Resolve 17 or 18.
Reading on the forum I saw that 17.1 version should work with dongle on M1
So I tried that specific version and it's running.
Do you know if can I update to 17.something or it will not work with versions above 17.1?
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

It’s not that you have forgotten to allow the dongle or hub to be recognised when attaching it?
If so, disconnect it and reconnect it and see what the macOS says.

Also check the system information if the macOS recognise the key dongle on the usb/thunderbolt port.

Works fine here.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
