I'm skeptical.
Hi.
Here are process node size, FP32 (float) TFLOPS and launch price of tre nVidea graphics cards.
RTX 3060 12GB:
Samsung Process Size 8 nm
FP32 (float) 12.74 TFLOPS
$329
The coming RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB:
TSMC Process Size 5 nm
FP32 (float) 19.47 TFLOPS
$499
RTX 4070 12 GB:
Process Size 5 nm
FP32 (float) 29.15 TFLOPS
$599
Resolve do all its Image processing in RGB fp32. So a good way to estemate its performane, is to look at the FP32 (float) TFLOPS.
I can't se any improvement pr $ with the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, but I see an another option for a Resolve Graphics card.
And the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB will be more energy efficient than the the RTX 3060 12GB, due to its change from the old Samsung 8 nm process node, which actually is just an improved 10 nm process node.
But let's wait for some Resolve benchmarks.
