I can't toggle snapping in the middle of dragging clips in the latest versions. Works fine in 18.5.1

Working here using either the shortcut N or the Snap key on the Speed Editor.

Weird. Hitting N doesn’t toggle when I’m dragging a clip. Rolled back to 18.5.1 and it works. On Mac OS Ventura (Apple silicon)

I'm also seeing this work correctly in Studio 18.6.2 on Windows 10.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Maybe someone running macOS could give it a try (I'm away at the moment, otherwise I would give it a go). Cheers.

Snapping seems to be working perfectly well for me, with Resolve 18.6.2, macOS 13.2 on a vanilla M1 laptop.

Just to confirm. If you have snapping off and start dragging a clip you can toggle snapping on and off while still dragging the clip?

Just did a uninstall of everything and installed 18.6.2 clean and it's working fine. Not sure what was happening before. I tried a few things before downgrading. Sorry for the fire drill.

No need to apologize, interesting to know that a bad install might lead to odd problems like this one... Cheers.
