Ripple Cut breaks Audio Link with video clips

Ripple Cut breaks the link between Audio+Video.

This is what I do:

- Drop a Video clip with audio on a timeline.
- Mark an I+O somewhere in the middle of the clip
- Issue Clip->Ripple Cut

Now we get two clips. The first clip keeps its audio linked, but the second clip has audio unlinked.

I must relink audio clips manually selecting each corresponding A+V clips and do clip->link clips, which is time consuming

Any way to revert this? Is this behaviour intended by BMD? Or is this a bug? I don't expect this behaviour.
This was not happening on previous DVR versions. I guess it started after 18.5 or 18.6

Seems like a bug, delete and ripple delete maintain the link but cut and ripple cut do not.

Seeing the same in Windows. It wont allow you to manually relink the video and audio of the second part of the clip either. The front part of the clip, and any other clip you add to the timeline still show the link symbol even when they are unlinked.

This is the normal behavior of Resolve, one of the things I think needs to be corrected if you want to compete with other editing software.

Generally, in order not to risk it, I reconnect them manually.

Until things change, you can Split Clip to remove segments. (Skip the In/Out points.)

This was NOT the behaviour of DVR in previous versions. I've done thousands of ripple cuts on the past without having to relink Audio/Video again.

I hope this can be addressed soon. Ripple is a tool I use a lot, and since last update I've been forced to change my workflow, or edition is a mess, please BMD solve this bug ASAP.

On 16.6.3 it has been announced a lot of fixes for Ripple Cut. However the issue above keeps replicating, which is messing my timelimes.

If ripple cut breaking the audio/video link is intended for any reason as suggested workflow from BMD, why Detect Scene Cuts or Split Clip don't break the audio/video link?

The great new features on DVR19 are highly appreciated, but please, BMD, fix the bugs we have been experiencing for more than a year. This one steals much time for us fixing broken links, and also disorients newcomers.

Edit: it was actually this way in 18.6.6 for me too, so it was fixed before 19 beta was released.
