Please add the ability to copy effects between normal tracks and Buses. Also between different timelines.

Thank you very much:)

+1 A copy and paste attributes for tracks would be kind of nice. And a right click on effects to copy and paste like you can with the built-in dynamics / eq.

That being said, there are currently some not-so-obvious ways to copy effects between tracks, busses and timelines. If you put your Mixer into Single Mixer View (the three dot menu) then you can Alt / Option + drag an effect from a track to a bus to copy and vice versa. Also, if you open up an effect's settings window, you can select copy and paste in the three dots menu. This has to be done per effect so it can be a little slow if you have a lot of effects. Otherwise, another option would be to create a Fairlight preset from a track / bus and then apply that preset to a different track / bus to copy all effects and then delete the preset... which is a little cumbersome.

There is a separate forum for Feature Requests.

viewforum.php?f=33

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

In the source Timeline, right click the Fairlight Mixer channel strip header and select Copy. In the destination Timeline, right click a Mixer channel strip header and select Paste. It is also possible to “Paste to Selected” from the Fairlight Mixer channel strip header for multiple destination Tracks.

Track Attributes may also be copied in this manner between Projects with Dynamic Project Switching enabled.

Track Attributes will include Track FX, Inserts, Fairlight Equaliser and Dynamics Processor, Pan, Solo and Mute status, and Fader level.

Track Attributes may also be copied within the same Timeline, from the Timeline Track header. This includes selectable Attributes to paste to the destination Track.

Use the Fairlight menu > Presets Library to save and recall Track settings between Projects or Timelines.

The Fairlight Configuration Preset contains all Timeline preferences (e.g. Audio Tracks, heights, colour, naming, inserts, Fairlight DSP, Track routing, Buss and VCA assigns, and Track Groups).

Configuration Presets are stored with the system and so these are also accessible across Databases.

Configuration Presets may be recalled either in an existing Timeline via the Presets Library or within the "Create New Timeline" window by enabling the "Use Fairlight Preset" option.

The Fairlight Preset Library provides additional categories including Equaliser, Dynamics, Plugins, Global Track, Global Bus, and the Configuration presets.

Amazing, I had no idea you could copy and paste track attributes from the track header. Thanks for sharing, Reynaud!
