Colors with D-Log M footage are rapidly changing

Footage what shot with a DJI Pocket 3 in D-Log M with manual white balance. After loading it into resolve you can see how how there's this big orange tint over the footage which will later shift to green and purple. I then applied the official pocket 3 d-log transform lut and the issue still persisted.

I know you can edit D-Log M footage as I've seen several youtube tutorials about the subject. Meanwhile I loaded another media file that was shot in the normal color settings with manual white balance and everything was fine.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

Free or Studio?

What GPU and Diver version?

Can you share a sample clip?

For what it's worth, I found that I could not reliably edit D-Log M footage in the free version on a PC with a 3080 Ti. I'd often see strange colors over half the video.

This was completely resolved by buying Studio.

Resolve free on Windows doesn't support 10 bit h.264/5 footage

Sadly, unlike any sensible software on the planet, Black Magic doesn't give you an error message when you try to open unsupported codec. As such, posts like these happen almost daily.

I would encourage you to go to the feature request section here and request that.

They'd do themselves a favour by writing "This codec is not supported in the free version, get Studio to enjoy it." Or something in that line.

Exactly. I am fine its paywalled. Just tell people that in the software with a popup.
