What is going on with video transitions?

PostThu Mar 28, 2024 12:41 am

Talk about frustrating. I noticed this problem a few upgrades ago and its getting so bad that I don't even want to use this software.

I know how to add transitions. They just don't work. Two video clips, long ones, say 6 minutes each....They are from a gopro, but it doesn't matter what created the files. Try to drop a transition and either nothing happens, or it will only land on one side or the other. When the transition will not work, a work around seems to be cutting some of the video. WHY. IT wastes a ton of time, time I don't have.

Then, if you get the transition on, you can't resize it. This is now consistent. Working on a laptop with a great 1070 graphics card. This used to work perfectly. Now it does not.

I am travelling. Currently in Costa Rica, my 9th country. I cannot afford the time this is taking, so please help.

Thank you.

@Leslie
This makes me think he has no handles.

@Mike
If that is the case, don't complain. If you don't like it, use another software, which is using freeze frames for transitions. DR will not do that.

Did I mention that one day AI will do it all for you, no more editing needed? Even no travelling? ;-)
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
