I just got a Samsung Neo G9 57" Ultrawide monitor. The thing is HUGE but fantastic that I can use a single monitor with resolve and have even more workspace than I had with my dual monitor setup. However my main playback viewing window is now way off center from my monitor. I have to move my head more to go back and forth between my timeline and the viewing window (I know not a huge problem in the scheme of things), but it would be great to be able to move the viewing windows closer together into the center of the screen. Is there a way to do that?

Isn't there a short cut to swap between two viewers and one? It's not what you were looking for but it would probably help your neck out. That is one long timeline. Jealous.

Directly to the left of the Timeline Viewer's three dot menu is a square icon. That will toggle between single or dual Viewers.
In single mode, it gets centered.

Yes I know I can switch to a single viewer. While that would place it in the center, it would come at the cost of losing the source viewer. With so many monitors of all sizes and resolutions on the market today, you'd think Resolve's GUI would be more flexible. But the locked in GUI has been one of its biggest drawbacks for many years. As a result, the larger the monitor, the more space is wasted because of this inflexibility.

Run your source viewer on a second monitor?

Does that monitor have an option for two sources?

I believe it does, but I just have it plugged into my 3090. Only using the monitor for editing in Resolve really.

You can't move the middle separating bar but if you hold the middle mouse button, you can move your canvas to any position in the viewer. You can butt it right up to the center line and make it behave like it's center is in the middle. I'm on a couple of QHD monitors but do the same thing on a wider screen I use every now and again.

The left panel can be reduced in size so the timeline stretches across the bottom of the screen. In the top left there is a button which is a box with a down arrow and it will do this. Then the media pool right edge can be adjusted to the right which will shift the viewers to the right. Not exactly what you wanted but maybe it will help.
How is the color accuracy. REC709, SRGB, P3-DCI?
