Opening Davinci Resolve PostgreSQL database on a new compute

PostTue Apr 16, 2024 5:35 pm

Hi everyone,
I am trying to enter my Davinci Resolve PostgreSQL database on a new computer, but I have no idea how to set it up. I tried moving all the folders related to the PostgreSQL files from my old C drive to my new C drive, but I still can't find a way to link them. Please help me out!!

I don't really know how your setup is configured, but I think you should first create a dump of the database, directly using a tool such as pg_dump. Then, on your new computer, install PostgreSQL in a standard way and reintegrate this backed-up database.

Thank you so much for your response. How do you reintegrate a backed-up database??
