[Solved]Dual Screen On:how to re-address the second monitor?

PostWed Apr 17, 2024 8:13 am

I have 3 monitors and with DaVinci I'm working with wht workspace: Dual Screen: On

Till this morning, DaVinci showed me in the man monitor the timeline and on the PC monitor 3 the other screen where there are FX, media, Power Bins etc.

20 minutes ago, NVIDIA Product Owner thought "why don't we create any problem?" and there was the update of the NVIDIA STUDIO Drivers.

now DAVINCI is showing me the 2nd monitor on the monitor 2 and not the monitor 3.
I thought for some reasons monitor were inverted by the system: nota t all. they are still in the order I set them up 2 years ago.

Now: how to tell to DAVINCI: hey, I want your second monitor on my monitor n.3 ?

I also use 3 monitors, two for the UI and one for Video Clean Feed and have never had an Nvidia driver update change the order of my monitors. I take it you have checked the setup in the Nvidia Control Panel to verify that it is unchanged. You can change which monitor displays what in the Workspace dropdown menu with the Primary and Secondary settings.

Thank you so much. I got it and I changed it. Now it's back in the old glory.
yes it's the first time that a driver update flips things in this way as well. But it is what it is :-/

thank you Charles.
