Audio Cuts out after edit

Hi

I am editing an mkv clip, and I am having an issue with the audio. Its one long clip cut up. The sounds works fine in the source. I have used the razor tool to chop up the clip. When ever I remove a section then the sound stops working properly. I dont see any bars on the mixer, but then further along the time line it will play. I deleted the cache a few times and now its set to user. Sometimes just clicking inside the time line or the viewer makes it work. The audio and the video are still linked.

so i narrowed it down to whenever I remove the empty spaces between the clips with backspace or delete the sound stops working if I manually move them then its fine.

Video NVENC, H.264
Audio AAC

Convert the source to LPCM and confirm the issue is still reproducible.

can do this inside davinci?

On the Fairlight Timeline from the Clip contextual menu select "Export Audio Files".
