Onloading Cine DNG files in replacement of Pro-Res from XML

PostFri Apr 19, 2024 4:17 pm

Hello, I come from the world of premiere, however for this specific project I wanted to color correct using Davinci. The footage was shot and edited from an FX-30 converted into Pro-Res Raw through a ninja device in Premiere Pro.

I was wondering if there was an easy way to bring over my premiere timeline over XML or another method, then replacing the Pro-Res footage (because it is not able to be read) with Cine DNG files. I have already converted all of my footage into Cine DNG and I am unaware of how to replace the files in the dacvinci timeline so that they are able to be read and modified.

Is there a way of doing this? or should I just load in the Cine DNG as its own new timeline in Davinci and then color grade and move it all back into premiere?
