Why can I still hear the sound if I exported as file?

PostWed Apr 24, 2024 9:09 am

Hello guys,

I have an issue with rendering multiple files for stock footage. I exported multiple files as "files" not as video. And I deleted the audio besides that. So the clip has no audio, and yet when I export it, you can hear the original audio. That's so weird. Can you please help? I would add a screenshot of my exporting settings but I don't know how to do it.

thanks a lot for your help

Please indicate the export method and outline settings used. Screenshots would be useful.

a) You have to have content in a file for it to be a file. So either video, video+audio or audio needs to be in the file.
How did you delete the audio?
If you disable the audio in the Deliver page, no audio will be in the files.

b) Either upload attachment in the posting screen on this forum, or upload to imgur and share the link.
(I'm betting Charles will reply with a detailed description how to upload to the forum, he's done do in the past.
Edit: I was wrong. Jim did it)

. Yes, you mean "individual" ones...
And I deleted the audio besides that. So the clip has no audio

Here's where you cover the tracks and prevent from being quickly helped imho..
What was on the the original TL when you switched to the deliver tab with your audio-less goal ? Several video clips with a single audio one covering the whole TL along ?

Because hey, anyway, in the Deliver, if you untick "audio", you won't have some in the end, see ?

Export as Single Clip instead of Individual Clips, and it will let you omit all audio and just export an MOS video clip.
