Why does Resolve randomly put borders around emoji?

It happens all the time in the editor. I can fix the problem by increasing the font size 1 pixel at a time until the border goes away.
However, sometimes, the editor shows no border, but after rendering the border appears.
It is rather off-putting and time-consuming.
Example pictures are attached.

EDIT
Like I said, sometimes in the preview it shows no border, then after rendering a border randomly appears.
However, if I render again, without changing anything, the border is gone.

If its random, it could be related to caching. Make sure all that is in order.
If its related to specific assets, what is the state of the assets you are using? Where they are created? If you downloaded them from someplace online, make sure there are no artifacts in the semi transparent bits. Sometimes downloaded from various websites these .pngs etc can be not well treated and have issues, so double check that as well.
But I would check caching first.

Thanks for the reply!
What do you mean by caching?
The emojis are part of Unicode

So they are a character in a font? I though you were importing graphics.
Well, if a font. Which font is it? What other effects if any are you adding to the font? Is there any other effects applied. What version of resolve are you using and what operating system? Provide as much info as you can.

If the Emojis are part of a font, what happens when you turn the Drop Shadow and Stroke completely off?

Windows 11
Resolve 19.0 build 69
Font: Various. AgencyFB, for example. It could be all fonts, it's hard to tell because it is so random.
Sometimes I can get rid of the colored border by increasing the font by 1-5 pixels. Then, I go back just to see the colored border came back.
Effects:
Drop Shadow
Offset 3.0
Opacity 100%
I've attached screenshots of what it looks like with and without the drop shadow enabled.

I've noticed the border color changes randomly too. Sometimes it's black, light blue, dark blue, red, etc.
I go to the trouble of increasing the size of the emoji by a pixel to get rid of the border, but then later I notice the border comes back, then I decrease the size of the emoji back down a pixel then it disappears again.

I have exactly the same problem.
This is undoubtedly a critical error which Blackmagic needs to fix as soon as possible.
