"The GPU Failed to perform image processing" error

I've seen the below error a couple of times over the past few days. I had to reboot my PC to get Resolve to work again - it was not frozen, it would just stop display anything.

I believe I've updated the (Studio) drivers recently so wondering whether that could be the issue.

This is a 3070 GPU, not overheating and in this case I was just trying to apply some grades so the system was mostly idle.

Ryzen 5700x, 32GB, Resolve is on gen 4 nvme SSD, media is on SATA SSDs.

The most I find is "I don't know what this happens" - the only possible explanation I was able to find is that I'm asking too much from my 3070

This kind of makes sense. I am now 4K, picture in picture with three streams (2 x FHD and 1 x 4K) and I was on the Color page.

That said, after the restart I could complete what I was doing in the color page. If it's the limited HW, I'd say DR is not handling that very well - but I could see their point in saying "you just need more "everything" "

Another thing is that I have been using the same workflow for a few months so why now?

A Resolve update perhaps?

A project that worked fine for years suddenly started failing for me on the same hardware with the update to version 18.

I have been on this version since last month I think, I had these two errors over the past couple of days. But I did upgrade the video driver a few days ago.
