I have been using Davinci Resolve for about three years and always have this problem. The problem is that the preview window for the source material is not available. So, if you are looking on the upper right, you only see the timeline viewer. If I reset the UI, then it restores the source viewer but then I lose all of my favorites. I posted this a while ago and I have not gotten a response so I’m posting it again.
Basically, I am asking if there is a simple way to restore both viewers, but not restore all of the UI settings? Oh, and the Inspector window is not open.
