Registration Activation Problem (Resolve 18)

I had to reset my Windows 11 because of malware and I'm quickly reinstalling my programs. I installed My Resolve 18.6 once without registering.

Next I tried to add my registration to the installed Resolve 18.6 and I cant find a way to register the installed program. I then tried to re-install the program but each time it's not letting me register my serial number.

Does anyone know a way around this? Cant I register an installed 18.6? How do I reinstall correctly? How do I find out if the program is registered?

Sounds like you installed the free version and not DaVinci Resolve Studio
