I'll preface this by saying I'm by no means an experienced Resolve user. I only started using it last year to become familiar with more NLE's, and in this case primarily to take advantage of Resolve's Fairlight capabilities which I have found to be impressive. On the other hand, there's not a day I don't bump into something else that makes my usage of the software frustrating and sometimes downright unusable;
I understand Resolve saves projects in a peculiar way, not as a single project file I would expect from say Premiere. So, the way to get my projects from one computer to another would be to "Export Project" (command + E on Mac). When I do this, however, I consistently get the two errors "Unable to Archive Media Pool" and "Unable to Archive Timeline". A .DRP file is still created after I select "Abort" (the only option on both error messages), but I am then unable to open these files as I'm given the error "Unable to Import Project (Failed to create temporary folder)". I do not currently have another computer to test if they open there instead.
Please advise!
My specifications:
MacBook Pro 14-inch, 2021, M1 Pro chip, running macOS Monterey
DaVinci Resolve free version, 17.2 build 11
Resolve has Full Disk Access (behavior remains regardless of this setting being on or off)
