Newbie question about magic mask

I am considering switching from Premiere pro to Davinci because the pro masking/tracking is awful. I don't think the free download has magic mask, so I figured I would ask to see if is going to do what I would like it to do first, before purchasing.

My question is: Can you isolate and track a persons bare skin on say his/her left arm only throughout a video? I have watched tutorials, but they all just show tracking an entire person, not an isolated body part such as some ones nose or left hand only.

Is Davinci capable of doing this to a high degree of accuracy?
