Audio Waveform Cursor Location Mismatch Problem

Davinci Audio Waveforms on Preview Screen.png
The red arrow on the top shows the location of the cursor incorrectly. The red arrow on the bottom shows the correct location.

This is true in 19B3 and has been a problem starting around version 18 of Davinci Resolve. It wasn't always like this according to my memory.
The wide view waveform is a good 20 seconds or so ahead of the current location that is shown correctly on the zoomed in waveform on bottom.
This makes sliding the top cursor problematic because you can't slide to the precise location that you need.

I see this too but the difference between them is only one second.

I think it get worse the longer the clip is. I would need to experiment to confirm.

So I am giving this one bump to see if anyone else has noticed that the two audio waveforms (wide & zoomed in) of the preview window are not aligned with each other. Meaning at a given point on the zoomed in audio waveform shows a very different point for the wide zoomed out waveform.

This is problematic when you want to use the wide zoomed out to scroll to a particular part of the audio waveform. You cue it to the exact point only to find that isn't really where the audio is cued up in the zoomed in audio waveform.

The mismatch can be off by a dramatic amount of time the longer the clip is.

I see it in 19b3 for Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
