Support for Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite

We are pleased to announce the DaVinci Resolve 19 beta 3 now supports Qualcomm’s new all in one CPU, NPU and GPU processor for Windows, Snapdragon X Elite.

This release is available at no charge for existing customers from our support web site.

Minimum system requirements for Windows for ARM64
• Windows 11 for ARM.
• Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite series processor.
• Recommended: 16 GB of system memory. 32 GB for 4K or Fusion use.

In general, for GPU errors, we encourage Windows users to install GPU drivers from the manufacturer - Intel, AMD, Nvidia etc.

For Windows on ARM64, Qualcomm seems to be working with Microsoft and the OEM directly.

As a starting point, please contact the computer manufacturer, and try their recommended driver version for your laptop model. Follow the Windows instructions to cleanly install graphics drivers, reboot and see if that works.
