Render in place's default folder

PostWed Jul 17, 2024 3:59 pm

If someone knows what's happening here....

For the past 3 betas, every time I do a render in place, or any operation where it asks where to save the files, in the past it always selected the cache folder by default. Which was fine because I always put everything there anyway.

but now it always opens the c:\users\{user} windows folder.

I remember changing something in the settings a while back, but I don't know what it was.

And since then, the very first time I do a render in place after I open a project, it never selects the cache folder automatically anymore

I find my RiP's going into {Project Media Location}/{Project Name}/Renders

Makes sense to me.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
